Job summary

Supaloc, part of the NEX Building Group, is seeking a Head of Structural Engineering to set the national engineering strategy and lead high-performing teams from Adelaide or Sydney with interstate travel.

You will drive governance, certification and innovation across the product portfolio, ensuring delivery standards across multiple states and brands while aligning with the group’s growth plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (postgraduate qualifications preferred).
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and functions.
• Strong governance, certification and risk-management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute national engineering strategy and roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership across design governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Lead product development, research and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage engineering budgets and business cases.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and regulators.
• Coach and develop a high-performing national engineering team.
• Act as senior technical authority for Supaloc product portfolio.
