Job summary

Asahi Beverages, headquartered in Melbourne, seeks a Head of Strategic Change to lead the Supply Chain change capability across a significant portfolio of initiatives. You’ll partner with senior leaders, align executive sponsors, and ensure adoption and sustainment of transformational work, with a focus on operating model design, workforce impact, and governance.

You will report to the General Manager, People Experience & Operations, and will shape priorities, investments and portfolio

Job description

This is a strategic leadership opportunity to shape how Asahi Beverages delivers transformational change across its Supply Chain function. Partnering with senior leaders, you’ll influence transformation priorities, help shape organisational choices, and investment decisions, shape organisational design, workforce, capability and operating model change, and build the organisational readiness needed to realise sustainable business value.

Reporting to the General Manager, People Experience & Operations, the Head of Strategic Change will lead the Supply Chain change capability supporting a significant portfolio of initiatives. You’ll bring executive stakeholders together, challenge and navigate competing priorities, and ensure the organisation is equipped to adopt and sustain change.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain senior leaders to shape transformation strategy, challenge and prioritise the portfolio, and influence implementation approaches.
• Influence decisions by translating business strategy into workforce impacts, organisational readiness and adoption plans.
• Build executive alignment and sponsor accountability, coaching leaders to own and sustain change.
• Provide an integrated view of portfolio priorities, dependencies, organisational capacity and change impacts to shape sequencing, investment and resource allocation decisions.
• Shape the organisational and people implications of transformation, including operating model choices, workforce transition and capability.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary change team, setting clear direction and deploying capability to initiatives with the greatest strategic value and risk.

About You

You’re a strategic transformation leader with strong commercial judgement and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. You connect business strategy with practical execution, navigate complexity and build the leadership commitment needed to deliver sustainable outcomes.

• Substantial senior transformation, change leadership or strategic partnering experience across complex enterprise transformations and portfolios.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives, constructively challenge assumptions and shape material business decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect business strategy, portfolio investment, operating model choices and workforce impacts.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing organisational change capability.
• Strong experience across organisational design, workforce transition, portfolio prioritisation and governance.
• Supply Chain experience is advantageous but not essential, with strong transferable transformation experience and learning agility equally valued.
