Qualifications

• Deep experience in protective security gained through law enforcement, armed forces, corporate security or another relevant security environment.
• Strong security risk judgement, including assessing emerging threats and turning intelligence into practical security decisions.
• Experience leading people and security operations in complex environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills, with the confidence to advise senior leaders and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience managing security suppliers, services and costs while maintaining effective security outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead our protective security function and shape the security strategy for Westpac PNG.
• Advise senior leaders and coordinate with external security providers, law enforcement and partners.
• Plan for executive travel and respond to critical incidents with clear thinking and good judgment.
• Ensure the safety of people across workplaces, branches, ATMs, events and travel.
