Job summary

Macarthur Girls High School is seeking an experienced Head Teacher Science to lead the development and delivery of the Science curriculum for a diverse student body in Parramatta. The role focuses on improving teaching practice through evidence-informed planning, assessment, and reporting, while supporting staff and fostering collaboration across departments.

The successful candidate will drive curriculum implementation, mentor teachers, and contribute to whole-school priorities.

Qualifications

Approval to teach Science with capacity to implement the new Science curriculum and effective assessment practices.
Ability to build staff capability through collaborative leadership and high expectations.
Ability to work with the executive team to lead whole-school initiatives.
Passion and commitment to promoting Science through extracurriculars and community partnerships.

Responsibilities
