Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capacity to lead high-quality, evidence-informed teaching and learning in Science with deep knowledge of syllabus implementation, explicit teaching, differentiation, and the use of data to improve outcomes for diverse learners.
• Proven ability to build teacher capacity through instructional leadership, mentoring and the design and delivery of high-impact professional learning.
• Demonstrated organisational and leadership skills to lead effective faculty systems such as scope and sequences, assessment schedules and resource management.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively as part of the executive team and community partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of Aboriginal education policy and whole-school improvement strategies.
• Commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, high-performing school culture.
