Chifley College Shalvey Campus in Western Sydney is seeking a Head Teacher Science to lead the Science faculty across a comprehensive 7-10 campus. You will drive quality teaching, implement the science syllabus, and support student wellbeing in line with DoE values.

The role requires strong educational leadership, data-informed planning, curriculum design, and the ability to work with staff, parents and the wider school community to sustain an inclusive, trauma-informed, high-performing culture.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated capacity to lead high-quality, evidence-informed science teaching.
• Proven ability to mentor teachers and deliver high-impact professional learning.
• Ability to develop scope and sequences, assessment schedules and resources.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with staff, students and the wider community.

Responsabilidades

• Lead science teaching across the campus, using syllabus implementations.
• Provide instructional leadership and design professional development.
• Coordinate assessment schedules and resource planning for the faculty.
• Collaborate with executive team to foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
