Job summary

Regenerate Talent Pty is working with a fast-growing solar and battery storage business in Sydney to appoint a Head of Projects. The role reports to the Managing Director and leads a small delivery team across 100 kW to MW-scale projects, ensuring on-time, on-spec delivery and healthy margins.

You will own end-to-end delivery from contract through O&M, coordinating installers, DNSP activities and safety, while mentoring project managers and expanding the team.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in commercial and industrial solar and BESS
• Experience leading small teams of project managers and engineers
• Proven ability to manage margins, variations and cash flow
• Experience with DNSP connections, site safety and contractor management

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across commercial and industrial solar and BESS projects from 100 kW to MW scale
• Lead, coach and grow project managers; set processes and accountability
• Manage installers and subcontractors, WHS and site safety, approve purchase orders
• Collaborate with network operators on connection and approvals
• Own margin, variations and cash flow on every project
• Bring in battery and HV specialists when needed
• Be hands-on at the start and lead by example as the team scales
