Job summary

MYOB is seeking a Head of Product to lead Practice’s growth, connecting strategy to execution, growing brilliant product people and creating an environment where teams have the context and confidence to make great decisions.

You’ll lead a talented group of Product Managers and Domain Experts across Design, Technology, Product Marketing, Sales and Support, setting clear priorities and investing where it matters.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and coaching product teams, with a track record of developing Product Managers and lifting team capability.
• Strong software product experience, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment.
• The ability to connect business strategy, product strategy and delivery across multiple teams.
• The judgement to make hard prioritisation calls, and the confidence to explain and hold those trade-offs with senior leaders.
• Advanced use of AI in your own work, research, analysis, prototyping and product delivery.
• Experience leading teams through change, ambiguity or transformation.
• Strong stakeholder skills and credibility to influence senior leaders.
• Experience in accounting or professional services software is a bonus, not a requirement.

We're looking for a Head of Product to help lead that work.

This is a role for an exceptional people leader and product coach. You'll connect strategy to execution, grow brilliant product people and create an environment where teams have the context and confidence to make great decisions.

The opportunity

Practice is at the start of its next phase of growth. Over the past few years we've built the core of a modern platform, including our own ledger, tax and practice management products, alongside strong partnerships and a growing set of integrations. Now we're bringing those pieces together into one connected platform that practices can run their whole firm on, with AI doing more of the work.

You’ll lead a talented team of Product Managers and Domain Experts through that growth, partnering closely with Design, Technology, Product Marketing, Sales and Support. You'll set clear priorities, make the calls on where we invest, and build a product team that can turn our strategy into products practices choose and keep choosing.

This is a role where you’ll shape what Practice becomes next and lead the team that brings that vision to life

What you'll be doing

• Connect strategy to delivery by turning business goals into clear product priorities and roadmaps that teams can confidently execute.

• Lead the way with AI by using it meaningfully in your own work, encouraging experimentation, and embedding AI-native ways of working across Practice.

• Lead through complexity across a broad portfolio of established and cloud products, simplifying where it makes sense and making clear calls on where we invest.

• Partner across the business by working closely with Design, Technology, Product Marketing, Sales, Support and senior leaders.

What we're looking for

You're an experienced product leader who gets as much satisfaction from growing great people as you do from building great products.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience leading and coaching product teams, with a track record of developing Product Managers and lifting team capability.

• Strong software product experience, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment.

• The ability to connect business strategy, product strategy and delivery across multiple teams.
