Job summary

Impact Teaching Group is seeking a Head of Product for Impact Assessment in Australia. You will ensure schools can implement and use the platform confidently, while driving improvements.

You will work closely with Smartgrade and cross-functional teams to translate school needs into practical technical solutions and product development. Responsibilities span onboarding, product development, and customer management, with a focus on data privacy, training, and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or implementing a software platform, ideally in education.
• Experience working in or with schools and understanding teachers’ day-to-day needs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and confidence with data, system configuration and integrations.
• Ability to test functionality and reports systematically, with close attention to accuracy.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical matters in accessible language.
• Strong organisation and judgement when balancing support requests, implementation deadlines and planned development.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with schools and external providers.
• Hold a valid National Police Check and appropriate state-based Working with Children Check or local equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Technical support and implementation—coordinate school onboarding, platform configuration, data and integrations.
• Product development—maintain and progress the product roadmap and gather school feedback.
• School customer management and service improvement—embed a consistent support approach from onboarding to renewal.
