Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking an accomplished engineering leader to own the end-to-end technology of a core platform. You will drive architecture, roadmaps and execution across development, testing, and operations while fostering an innovative, inclusive engineering culture.

You will attract and develop senior engineers, align with business strategies, and ensure risk-aware, high-performing delivery in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering managers in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Deep understanding of modern engineering practices and long-term technical roadmaps.
• Track record designing, building and operating mission-critical, large-scale platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures and site reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technology for a core platform from architecture to deployment and operations.
• Define and execute the engineering strategy, roadmap, and processes (CI/CD, production support).
• Attract, coach, and retain senior engineers; build resilient leadership and succession plans.
• Engage with architects and senior stakeholders to influence business and tech strategies.
