Job summary

Notting Hill Engineering People Pty is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Clayton to lead the Operations and Service teams, drive efficiency, and align performance with business goals. The role reports to the Managing Director and collaborates with Sales, Engineering, Projects and Commercial teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering mindset, 3+ years in operations management and 5+ years in a senior service operation function,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, project management or technical field.
• Electrical engineering qualification preferred.
• Experience leading operations and service functions in an engineering/manufacturing context.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategy, operating plans and objectives.
• Monitor and report KPI’s across Operations and Service functions, drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor and guide team leads, foster a proactive, high-performing environment.
• Conduct performance and remuneration reviews for direct reports and support team leads.
• Represent the Operations and Service team in leadership discussions and strategic planning initiatives.
• Ensure service delivery meets customer expectations and contractual KPI’s.
• Manage staffing and labour for operational and project needs; oversee WH&S compliance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver integrated customer solutions.
