Job summary

St Peter’s Girls’ School seeks an inspirational leader to provide strategic and operational leadership of the Reception to Year 6 Junior School, driving high expectations and a culture of belonging. You will report to the Principal and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

You will champion contemporary pedagogy, foster student wellbeing and lead staff development through coaching and mentoring, using data to inform improvement and build strong community relations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as an educational leader driving school improvement.
• Experience leading staff through coaching and professional learning.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Reception to Year 6 Junior School.
• Champion contemporary teaching, learning and student wellbeing.
• Lead, develop and inspire staff through professional learning, coaching and mentoring.
• Use research, data and evidence to drive educational improvement and innovation.
• Build strong relationships with students, families and the wider School community.
• Contribute strategically as a member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team.
