Aboriginal Legal Service in Sydney is seeking a Head of Information Technology to lead the IT strategy and delivery across shared services. You will drive digital transformation and ensure secure, reliable technology to support legal and allied professional services for Aboriginal communities.

Lead a team, oversee Microsoft 365, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships, while aligning technology with ALS's cultural values and community-controlled approach.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in IT with at least 7 years leading an IT team.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Fabric.
• Proven ability to lead technology projects and IT operations in lean environments.
• Strong vendor management, budget, and contract negotiation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across executive and operational teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver IT strategy, aligning technology investments with organisational goals.
• Oversee business applications, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, and day-to-day IT service delivery.
• Manage cybersecurity, IT risks, data protection, compliance, and continuity.
• Manage technology vendors, contracts, budgets, and SLAs.
• Lead and develop the IT team and partner with senior leaders to deliver technology solutions.
