Canberra Grammar School seeks a Head of Inclusive Learning to lead the Senior School’s inclusive education strategy for Years 7–12. You will blend strategic direction with practical classroom support, coordinating a multi-tiered system of support for students with additional needs and for high-ability learners needing stretch.

You will work with families and colleagues to strengthen universal practice, evaluate outcomes, and build partnerships across teaching and specialist services to realise

Qualifications

• Leading universal, targeted and intensive support for students.
• Experience with Universal Design for Learning.
• Excellent written English and interpersonal communication.
• Engagement with contemporary inclusive education practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Inclusive Learning team with professional capability.
• Strengthen universal inclusive classroom practice using UDL and evidence.
• Oversee identification of learning needs and plan targeted support.
• Support individualised stretch for able learners with needs.
• Use data to evaluate impact and refine practice.
• Build partnerships connecting classroom teaching and specialist support.
