Job summary

St. Joseph's College Mildura seeks an exceptional Head of Learning & Diversity to lead the Learning Diversity team and drive inclusive practices across the College.

You will champion student voice, ensure equitable access to learning, and support staff in implementing personalised adjustments. As a 0.8 role with a 0.2 teaching load, you will oversee Learning Support Officers, work with families, allied health professionals, and external agencies to help every student flourish academically,

Qualifications

• Hold valid VIT registration.
• Passionate, experienced educator with a commitment to inclusive learning.
• Strong relationship builder who can lead and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for students with disability, additional learning needs and diverse learning profiles.
• Support the development, implementation and monitoring of personalised learning plans and reasonable adjustments.
• Build the capability of teaching staff through coaching, mentoring and professional learning.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Learning Support Officers.
• Foster strong partnerships with parents, carers and external support providers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislative, funding and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to a culture where diversity is valued, inclusion is embedded and every student is known, supported and challenged.
