Job summary

St Columba’s Primary School in Ballarat invites applications for Learning Diversity Leader (0.8 FTE, four days per week). The role leads the school's approach to identifying student needs, planning reasonable adjustments, personalised learning, and coordinating complex student support with families, allied health professionals and external services.

You will build capacity across staff, establish robust processes, and review actions to ensure learning diversity is supported.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification and VIT registration.
• Strong knowledge of learning diversity and inclusive education.
• Experience in educational assessment and NCCD.
• Ability to coordinate complex student support and case management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate identification of student needs.
• Plan and review reasonable adjustments and personalised learning.
• Coordinate support for students with diverse needs with families and external services.
• Build capacity of teachers and Learning Support Officers.
• Establish effective processes and review actions to sustain impact.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals and external services.
