Job summary

Summit Recruitment is seeking an experienced Recruitment Team Leader to guide our national labour hire function from the Smithfield Head Office. You will lead a high-volume blue-collar recruitment team across Australia and oversee after-hours operations to deliver 24/7 client service.

You will mentor staff, drive performance, and collaborate with Account Managers to exceed client expectations. Strong Bullhorn proficiency is essential for daily activity, reporting and workflows.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in blue-collar labour-hire recruitment.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring recruitment teams.
• Hands-on, operational recruiter who fills roles quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the recruitment team across Australia.
• Manage high-volume recruitment orders across multiple states and industries.
• Oversee after-hours recruitment to ensure 24/7 service excellence.
• Drive performance, productivity and KPIs across the team.
• Coach recruiters to improve sourcing, candidate management and time-to-fill.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and ensure compliance.
