icare NSW seeks a Head of Enterprise Risk to lead and shape the enterprise risk function, strengthening risk culture and delivering outcomes across the organisation from Sydney CBD. The role partners with the GM and Risk & Compliance leadership to execute the risk framework and strategic priorities.
The successful candidate will drive risk insights, oversee SME risk areas, and report to the Board and regulators, guiding multi-year risk initiatives and strengthening governance across icare.

The Head of Enterprise Risk provides leadership, vision, direction and structure to the Enterprise Risk team. In collaboration with the General Manager and Risk & Compliance leadership team, the role contributes to the development of the Risk & Compliance business plan. The role drives the execution of icare's Strategic Priorities relating to: effectively implementing the risk management framework through robust risk advice and relationship management; enabling the business to identify, assess and manage risks in a consistent and systematic manner applying robust risk strategies.
The role ensures icare is accountable to its Board, Chief Executive, external regulators, and stakeholders for its management of risk and its responses to issues requiring remediation.
This is a significant leadership role within icare that requires the ability to think and plan to a multi-year horizon, an understanding of risks in decision making, the influence of their behaviours on our people, and their lasting impacts on icare.
