Job summary

Balance Recruitment is seeking a seasoned General Manager for Enterprise & AI Architecture, Strategy and Procurement in Sydney. You will shape the technology landscape, align AI investments with risk, security and business outcomes, and report to the CIO, guiding a multidisciplinary team through major transformation and governance initiatives.

Qualifications

Substantial senior experience leading enterprise architecture in a large, complex organisation.
Proven success developing target-state architectures, roadmaps and governance for major transformation.
Strong understanding of enterprise AI architecture and governance.
Ability to influence investment decisions and manage cross-domain technology trade-offs.
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; TOGAF accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and lead an architecture, strategy and procurement function across enterprise domains.
Own and communicate technology strategy, principles and multi-year roadmaps.
Coordinate AI architecture across business, data, applications and security.
Advise executives on technology trends, risks and investments.
Drive simplification and platform consolidation while reducing technical debt.
