Better Rehab is seeking an HR Manager to own the employee experience and retention strategy across its dispersed team in Australia. You will lead six HR professionals nationwide, align strategies with growth, and collaborate with the P&C leadership to implement a measurable retention program.

You'll drive the employee journey from attraction to offboarding, empower clinical and operational leaders, and strengthen employer branding to position Better Rehab as an employer of choice.

Qualifications

• Proven track record designing retention strategies that measurably improve retention or engagement.
• Strategic thinker with ability to set a long-term vision and execute it.
• Strong accountability and data-driven decision making across the P&C function.

Responsibilities

• Set the Vision: Define a long-term retention and employee experience strategy aligned with growth.
• Own Retention: Lead nationwide retention initiatives using turnover and engagement data.
• Define the Employee Journey: Map and improve every stage of the lifecycle from attraction to offboarding.
• Empower Leaders: Build capability of leaders to retain and develop teams through coaching and development.
• Grow Talent: Oversee onboarding, performance management, and professional development; strengthen EVP and employer brand.
• Drive Engagement: Run annual engagement surveys and own the resulting action plans.
• Execute and Deliver: Translate strategy into priorities with KPIs; coach direct reports to deliver.
• Keep Us Compliant: Ensure practices meet employment, IR, WHS, and NDIS standards.
