Job summary

South32 is seeking a Superintendent Electrical Maintenance for the Cannington operation in northwest Queensland. The role leads the Electrical Maintenance function to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective electrical, instrumentation and control system performance while maintaining statutory compliance.

You will oversee maintenance strategies, safety leadership, contractor performance and budgets, with duties including supporting projects, shutdowns and asset improvements for a major mining

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Queensland Electrical Work Licence (or equivalent).
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for electrical safety, risk management and compliance.
• Develop and optimise maintenance strategies across critical assets.
• Manage contractor performance, service agreements and maintenance budgets.
• Support projects, shutdowns and asset improvement initiatives.
