Job summary

The Oodie in Australia is seeking an Operations Manager to own end-to-end distribution for our ecommerce brands, from inbound freight to warehousing and last-mile delivery. You will ensure service levels with 3PLs and lead an in-house team to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong ecommerce experience, ideally with consumer products / DTC brands.
• Proven experience managing 3PL warehouse partners, holding them accountable to KPIs.
• Solid working knowledge of how warehouses run and freight forwarding, outsourced or not.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Commercial mindset: comfortable owning budgets, costs, and KPIs.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Experience with Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day relationship with 3PL warehouse partners and freight forwarders across regions; ensure high service levels.
• Run regular business reviews with suppliers; hold them to KPIs and SLAs.
• Be escalation point when things go wrong with a calm, solutions-first approach.
• Bring understanding of warehouse operations and freight forwarding to ask the right questions and enforce standards.
• Support short and long-term capacity planning to meet peak trading and growth.
• Contribute to process standardisation and SOPs to improve consistency across regions.
• Identify and implement initiatives that reduce cost and waste in the network.
• Maintain visibility over warehousing, freight, and last mile costs against budget.
• Own daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles across freight, warehouse, and last mile operations.
• Lead and develop an in-house operations team with a culture of ownership.
