Job summary

Warakirri College Limited seeks an exceptional educational leader to join its Executive Team as Head of Distance Education, guiding one of NSW’s most innovative distance programs from its Cabramatta campus.

You will lead a dedicated team to improve student engagement, wellbeing and learning outcomes, oversee teaching quality, staff development and digital learning innovations while ensuring NSW education governance and strong family partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a leadership role directing diverse educational teams.
• Minimum five years in a teaching or student welfare role.
• Understands trauma-informed and student-centred educational practice.
• Experience in distance education settings highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Distance Education Program.
• Ensure excellence in student engagement, wellbeing and learning outcomes.
• Oversee teaching and learning quality, staff leadership and development.
• Drive digital learning innovation and governance compliance (NESA).
• Foster family and stakeholder engagement and continuous program growth.
