Job summary

Warakirri College seeks an exceptional leader to join the Executive Team as Head of Distance Education and to lead NSW's innovative Distance Education Program, based at our Cabramatta campus from 2028 (temporary in Campbelltown). This permanent full-time role focuses on student engagement, wellbeing, and learning outcomes, with emphasis on digital learning and governance.

The role requires strategic thinking, relationship-building with students, families and staff, and a passion for supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a leadership role.
• Minimum five years in a teaching or student welfare role.
• Trauma-informed and student-centred educational practice.
• Experience in distance education settings is highly regarded.
• Commitment to supporting vulnerable young people.

Responsibilities

• Lead the College's Distance Education Program within the Executive Team.
• Ensure excellence in student engagement, wellbeing and learning outcomes.
• Oversee teaching quality, staff leadership and professional development.
