Job summary

AstraZeneca Australia is seeking a Head of Diagnostics ANZ to lead a high-performing diagnostics function across Australia and New Zealand. You will shape companion diagnostic strategy, drive testing adoption, and embed diagnostics into oncology strategy and launches.

You will oversee a team, build strong partnerships with laboratories and clinicians, and address barriers across diagnostic pathways to improve accessibility and quality for patients.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in diagnostics or precision medicine.
• Proven track record leading in-field teams.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic customers and market dynamics.
• Experience turning strategy into execution and budget management.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Diagnostics Manager team with clear priorities.
• Shape and execute diagnostic strategy to improve adoption.
• Embed diagnostics into Oncology strategy and launch planning.
• Build partnerships with diagnostic companies, labs, and clinicians.
• Identify barriers in diagnostic pathways and drive testing adoption and quality.
