AstraZeneca plc in Australia invites an accomplished Head of Diagnostics ANZ to lead the diagnostics function across Australia and New Zealand. You will shape companion diagnostic strategy, drive adoption, and align testing pathways with oncology ambitions.

The role requires building a high-performing team, embedding diagnostics in strategy, and forging partnerships with labs, pathologists and healthcare professionals to advance patient access to precision medicine.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in diagnostic strategy, partnerships or testing pathways.
• Experience leading and developing an in-field team.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic customers and market dynamics.
• Ability to develop strategy and translate priorities into execution.
• Cross-functional leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Budget management capability and oncology/companion diagnostics exposure.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach and develop the Diagnostics Manager team with clear priorities.
• Shape and execute diagnostic strategy translating field insights into actions.
• Embed diagnostics into Oncology strategy and launch planning across brands.
• Build strategic partnerships with diagnostic companies, labs and clinicians.
• Address barriers in diagnostic pathways, focusing on testing adoption and quality.
• Collaborate across Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Marketing and Sales.
