Job summary

Inghams, Australia’s leading poultry producer, seeks a senior demand leader to elevate our demand planning function. You’ll lead a team of six demand planners, own a balanced, sign-off demand plan, and collaborate with sales to shape both short- and long-range horizons.

Based in Sydney or Macquarie Park, the role offers hybrid work in a fast-paced environment where you’ll influence how supply and demand are coordinated across the business.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in planning with a track record of improving plan quality and performance.
• Commercial credibility to challenge senior sales leaders with evidence.
• Strong communication to influence cross-functional and executive leaders in S&OP/IBP forums.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction of the demand plan: robust baseline with clearly owned variances, bottom-up build and top-down reconciliation.
• Improve performance against plan with sales, with clear ownership, sign-off and accountability.
• Plan in bird equivalents and lead proactive demand shaping with supply.
• Provide planning forums with clear view of performance, changes, risks, opportunities and decisions needed.
• Organise demand planning's people, process, tools and data for all horizons.
• Lead and develop a team of six demand planners with execution focus.
