Job summary

Innablr, part of DX1, seeks a Head of Data and AI to lead the next growth phase of its established practice. You will shape strategy, build trusted client relationships, and drive outcomes from data and AI for large, regulated clients.

You will own the commercial plan, lead Databricks and AWS partnerships, recruit and mentor talent, and ensure delivery excellence with strong governance and security at the core.

Qualifications

• Commercial leadership demonstrated by growth planning, pipeline building and account expansion.
• Partner GTM and alliances experience with Databricks, AWS or hyperscalers, including joint account planning.
• Deep Data & AI knowledge spanning data platforms, governance, analytics, ML, MLOps and enterprise AI.
• Experience with Databricks and AWS in enterprise settings, focusing on scalable, secure solutions.
• Enterprise client leadership with ASX 200 or equivalent complex organisations.
• Consulting and solution leadership in shaping complex engagements and senior stakeholder presentations.
• People leadership including KPI setting, performance reviews and development planning.
• Delivery judgement balancing pace, security, governance and client value.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the Data & AI practice's commercial and strategic plan with leadership alignment.
• Develop strong relationships with senior client stakeholders across business and tech domains.
• Shape and lead complex opportunities from initial talks to proposals and executive presentations.
• Lead strategic alliances and go-to-market activity with Databricks, AWS and hyperscalers.
• Ensure commercial incentives and partner-led motions translate into qualified opportunities and growth.
• Provide visible technical leadership across modern data & AI platforms, with practical architecture input.
• Build and lead a high-performing practice, including talent acquisition and performance management.
• Maintain executive oversight of strategic engagements, risk management and delivery quality.
• Strengthen market presence through thought leadership and partner engagement.
