Job summary

Manuka AI, a Databricks-native consultancy operating across ANZ, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to own delivery on client engagements. You’ll design and build pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and cloud-native solutions on Databricks, with hands-on delivery responsibility from day one.

You’ll collaborate with Manuka AI architects and client teams, bring 3+ years of data engineering experience, and show strong Python/Scala/SQL skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering, big data, or cloud data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance, scalable data pipelines and cloud-native architectures on Databricks.
• Develop efficient data solutions using Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Delta Live Tables.
• Implement data quality, lineage, and governance best practices across client platforms.
• Automate data workflows using Python, Scala, or SQL.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
