Brisbane Catholic Education Office is seeking a Head of College for St Eugene College, Burpengary, a prominent Catholic co-educational Prep-12 school with ~1500 students and ~150 staff. You will join the senior leadership team to advance the college mission and set strategic directions aligned with Catholic identity and high educational outcomes.

The role demands strong leadership, deep faith‑based commitment, and a track record in school improvement, staff development and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Principal, Deputy Principal or senior leader in Catholic schools.
• Experience in teaching and leading religious education.
• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration and QCT registration.

Responsibilities

• Nurture the spiritual growth of staff and students by modelling Catholic ethos and Gospel values.
• Support the Principal through liaising with the school community and guiding strategic decisions.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performance teaching culture with professional learning and feedback.
• Oversee change leadership with clear purpose and assess impact on the school community.
• Embed evidence-based teaching practices and drive continuous improvement in teaching.
