Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking to appoint an Executive Director, Advancement Services to lead the operational engine underpinning the university's philanthropy and alumni engagement program.

Reporting to the Vice-President, Advancement, the role oversees prospect development, data and analytics, BI, gift administration and advancement systems, driving efficiency, governance and strategic impact within a large, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex operations in large organisations.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable strategy for fundraising and alumni engagement.
• Strong governance, compliance and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead prospect development, data and analytics, and business intelligence for Advancement.
• Oversee gift administration and advancement systems to support scale and speed.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the Advancement portfolio.
• Drive efficiency, performance uplift and continuous improvement.
