The Associate Vice President will lead a high‑impact team, shaping policy, external partnerships, and the international student experience while operating within a complex, matrixed university environment.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in student recruitment, admissions, marketing, customer acquisition, commercial growth, student experience or a related field.
• A demonstrated ability to develop and implement large‑scale growth and engagement strategies.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and business planning.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Experience leading large, complex teams through change and transformation.
• A solid understanding of data, analytics and market intelligence to support strategic decisions.
• Ability to operate effectively in a highly complex, matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the University’s student recruitment and admissions strategy.
• Drive domestic and international recruitment performance with responsibility for University revenue.
• Provide strategic advice and market intelligence to inform planning and decision‑making.
• Lead a high‑performing, service-oriented student recruitment and admissions function.
• Utilise market insights and trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships across faculties and external stakeholders.
• Lead organisational performance, financial planning, governance, risk management and compliance.
• Influence policy development in higher education and regulatory environments.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation to enhance the prospective student experience.
