Job summary

The University of Sydney's Advancement Portfolio is seeking an experienced strategic project leader to drive planning, reviews and development initiatives that strengthen future philanthropic growth and revenue opportunities across the University.

Reporting to the Director, Principal Gifts, you will lead complex projects, develop frameworks and recommendations, and influence outcomes in a large, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading strategic reviews and planning initiatives.
• Ability to develop frameworks, operating models and business cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence-based insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic reviews and planning initiatives across Advancement.
• Review and shape the International Foundations program for growth.
• Design frameworks and methodologies to assess opportunities.
• Conduct environmental scanning to inform recommendations.
• Develop governance structures and business cases for decisions.
• Produce executive-level reports and briefings.
• Foster collaboration across Advancement and the University.
