Viva Leisure, a leading Australian fitness group, seeks a Head Coach for hiit republic at Weston. You will lead dynamic, high-energy classes, mentor coaches, and drive member growth while upholding brand standards.

The role emphasizes safety, inclusivity and exceptional service within a supportive team. You will welcome and convert new members, manage schedules, and deliver results-driven programming in a vibrant studio.

Formación

• Certificate III in Fitness is required.
• CPR Certification must be current and valid.
• First Aid Certification must be current and valid.
• For Cre che/Swim School/Group Fitness roles in QLD a Working with Children or Working with Vulnerable People Check may be required; confirm applicability.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver inclusive, inspiring and results-driven classes while creating a positive studio environment.
• Educate members with up-to-date fitness knowledge and foster an inclusive community through events.
• Lead class delivery and timetable management, ensuring consistency, safety and operational excellence.
• Mentor and support new coaches to maintain high coaching standards.
• Welcome, tour, and onboard new members, trialists and leads while driving conversions through proactive follow-ups.
• Support retention and sales by building relationships, responding to enquiries and contributing to a sales-focused culture.
• Represent the brand at community events, contributing ideas for growth and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe and functional studio, conduct regular checks on equipment and facilities.
• Ensure WHS compliance and promptly report incidents or hazards.
• Complete administrative tasks to support smooth studio performance.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

Essential Qualifications

• Certificate III in Fitness
• CPR Certification (current and valid)
• First Aid Certification (current and valid)
• For roles in Creche, Swim School, and Group FitnessInstruction (GFI) in QLD: a valid Working with Children orWorking with Vulnerable People Check is required. Pleaseconfirm with management whether this applies to yourposition

Desirable Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Fitness

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in First Aid procedures and commitment tomaintaining a safe training environment
• Strong knowledge of fitness training methods, exerciseprinciples, and program deliver
• Familiarity with fitness technology, equipment, and moderninstructional techniques
• Ability to consistently promote and uphold safety standardsfor members and staff
• Excellent verbal communication and active listeningskills
• A motivational, adaptable communication style that engagesdiverse member groups
• Effective time management skills to ensure smooth classpacing and studio scheduling
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to buildrapport, foster inclusivity, and engage groups
• High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism inall member interactions
• A compassionate, approachable attitude with the ability tomultitask in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in coaching and fitnessinstruction
