Job summary

PIZZA BROS in Erskineville, NSW, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations on a full-time basis. You will manage orders, rosters, staff morale, and drive recipe development for our Neapolitan-inspired pizzas while ensuring top service.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of Head Chef or Senior Chef experience in high-volume hospitality.
Proven leadership experience managing kitchen teams of varying sizes.
Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP) and health regulations.
Excellent knowledge of food costing, budgeting and inventory management.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing direction, training and supervision to ensure quality and productivity.
Plan and oversee food preparation, cooking and plating while maintaining culinary standards.
Design and develop menu items with cost efficiency and profitability in mind.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene and health regulations at all times.
Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimise waste.
Monitor equipment, schedule maintenance and repairs as necessary.
