Job summary

Ashgrove Meals on Wheels in Brisbane, QLD, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen and prepare nutritious, high‑quality meals for our local community.

You will oversee daily operations, plan menus meeting dietary guidelines, supervise staff and volunteers, and manage stock, costs and safety records. A culinary qualification and Food Safety Supervisor certification are essential, with driver’s license and Police Check preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant culinary qualifications and substantial commercial kitchen experience.
• Experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef, ideally in aged care or community meal services.
• Strong skills in bulk cooking, menu planning and special dietary requirements.
