Job summary

Wyong Milk Factory Tavern on the Central Coast is seeking a driven Head Chef to lead our tavern kitchen team. You will oversee menu development, food preparation, plating, and kitchen operations while mentoring two apprentices.

This role offers a competitive rate and onsite gym access, with a family-friendly, supportive work environment. You will craft fresh, high-quality meals in a busy venue that welcomes locals and tourists alike.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Sous or Head Chef.
• Certificate in Commercial Cookery Cert 3 &/or Cert 4.
• Passion to create quality food with fresh ingredients; wood-fired pizza experience a plus.
• Create an exciting and manageable menu.
• Lead a team including 2 apprentices.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen with WHS compliance.
• Responsibilities include managing orders, cooking, plating and portion control.
