Job summary

RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort, on Coral Bay's pristine shores, seeks a Head Chef to lead the kitchen for our soon-to-reopen resort. You will design seasonal menus, manage budgets, and uphold the highest food-quality and safety standards.

You will work with the Food & Beverage team to create memorable guest dining experiences, supervise and develop staff, and ensure WHS compliance across a seven-day roster including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is essential.
• Experience as Head Chef or senior kitchen leader in hotels or resorts.
• Strong background in menu development, cost control and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene.
• Create innovative seasonal menus in collaboration with the F&B team.
• Manage budgets, cost control, and supplier relationships.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes.
• Train, roster and develop staff to achieve excellence.
• Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety regulations.
