Job summary

CONNECT GROUP 1.0 PTY LTD is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team in a permanent, full-time role in Brisbane. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of quality, and work with Front of House to deliver outstanding dining experiences.

You will develop seasonal menus, manage food costs, control stock, and mentor staff. A strong focus on safety, hygiene and professional kitchen culture is essential, with opportunities to drive efficiency and profitability.

• Leading, training and developing the kitchen team.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
• Developing seasonal menus, daily specials and new dishes.
• Managing food costs
• Managing ordering and stock levels
• Ensuring recipes, preparation methods and portion sizes are consistent.
• Creating an organised, professional and positive kitchen culture.
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards are maintained.
• Working closely with Front of House to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Identifying opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency, profitability and performance.
