Job summary

Aston Advantage in Brisbane (Berrinba, QLD) seeks a trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic for a permanent role. You will diagnose faults and repair heavy construction equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders and dozers, with a focus on quality repairs and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years’ experience and can work independently with minimal supervision. Minimum 10-hour workdays and roster/overtime arrangements will be confirmed.

Opportunity: Big machines, serious mechanical work and a permanent role in Berrinba. Work across excavators, wheel loaders and dozers, diagnosing faults, tackling repairs and keeping heavy equipment operating. This role suits a mechanic who knows their way around heavy machinery and can get straight into the job.

Experience: Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with 6–10 years of relevant industry experience, depending on skill level. Strong hands‑on knowledge of excavators, wheel loaders and dozers is essential, along with mechanical and hydraulic fault‑finding, servicing and breakdown repairs. You must be comfortable working independently, solving problems and delivering quality repairs without constant supervision.
