Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking a Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic for a permanent role in Dalby, QLD. You will split your time between workshop repairs and field service on excavators, wheel loaders and dozers, with 60-hour weeks and strong overtime opportunities to maximise earnings.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years in the industry, proven fault-finding skills, and can troubleshoot problems across both workshop and field service environments.

Heavy Diesel Mechanic | Dalby | $55–$60/hr + Penalties | Permanent | Workshop & Field Service

Experience:

Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with strong hands-on experience across heavy construction equipment, particularly excavators, wheel loaders and dozers. Confident with mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding, servicing, breakdowns and component repairs. Ideally 10–15 years in the industry, with the ability to troubleshoot problems and deliver quality work independently across workshop and field service environments.
