Job summary

Aston Advantage in Brisbane is seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic for a permanent, on-site role at Berrinba. You’ll work on heavy construction equipment across excavators, wheel loaders and dozers, diagnosing faults and performing repairs to keep machines running.

The ideal candidate is trade-qualified with 6–10 years of relevant experience, capable of working independently and delivering quality repairs with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with 6–10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of excavators, wheel loaders and dozers.
• Proficient in mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding, servicing and repairs.

Responsibilities

Heavy Diesel Mechanic | Berrinba | $55–$60/hr + Penalties | Permanent | Heavy Construction Equipment

Opportunity: Big machines, serious mechanical work and a permanent role in Berrinba. Work across excavators, wheel loaders and dozers, diagnosing faults, tackling repairs and keeping heavy equipment operating. This role suits a mechanic who knows their way around heavy machinery and can get straight into the job.

Experience: Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with 6–10 years of relevant industry experience, depending on skill level. Strong hands‑on knowledge of excavators, wheel loaders and dozers is essential, along with mechanical and hydraulic fault‑finding, servicing and breakdown repairs. You must be comfortable working independently, solving problems and delivering quality repairs without constant supervision.
