Job summary

V/Line is seeking an HCM Technology Lead to drive end‑to‑end HCM implementation and align solutions with BIS architecture, standards and governance.

This role oversees architecture oversight, system integration, data migration, environment management, testing strategy, deployment and post‑implementation readiness while proactively managing technology risks and engaging stakeholders in a hybrid Melbourne‑based setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience providing technology leadership on large-scale, enterprise-wide HCM implementations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, system integration, data migration, and governance.
• Proven ability translating complex program and business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Delivery capability across design, build, test, environment management, deployment, and transition to operations.
• Engagement with a variety of stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end technology leadership across the entire HCM implementation.
• Ensure solutions are designed, delivered, integrated, and transitioned into BAU operations.
• Oversee architecture oversight, system integration, data migration, environment management, testing, deployment and post‑implementation readiness.
• Identify and manage technology risks and issues; align outcomes with business objectives.
• Contribute to program governance and decision‑making forums.
