Job summary

V/Line in Melbourne is seeking an experienced HCM Integration Lead to drive design, delivery, and management of integrations across the HCM implementation program. You will ensure secure, accurate data flows and collaborate with the Solution Architect, Integration Team, Business Analysts, and implementation Partner.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HCM software integration (Workday preferred) with hands-on experience with web services (REST/APIs) in an AWS environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing integration projects for HCM software implementations.
• Strong technical experience with HCM systems (Workday preferred) with ability to translate integration requirements into implementation plans, technical stories, system configurations, etc.
• Proven ability to engage and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, technical and non-technical.
• Desirable experience with JDE and Time & Attendance systems.

About the role

Our new HCM Integration Lead will lead the design, delivery, and management of integrations across the HCM implementation program, ensuring secure and accurate data flows.

Partnering with the Solution Architect, Integration Team, Business Analysts, and the implementation Partner, you’ll ensure integrations align with V/Line’s overall integration strategy and business requirements.

This role leverages system integration tools, APIs, web services, and AWS services to deliver scalable and efficient solutions, and is accountable for integrating the HCM platform with finance, payroll, workforce management, benefits, and third‑party systems.

About you

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following key selection criteria within their application, as this forms part of our merit-based recruitment process:

Must have 3+ years’ experience in HCM software integration (workday preferred) with hands‑on experience with software web services (REST/APIs), in an AWS environment.

Demonstrated experience in leading and managing integration projects for HCM software implementations.

Strong technical experience with HCM systems (Workday preferred) with ability to translate integration requirements into implementation plans, technical stories, system configurations etc.

Proven ability to engage and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, as well as technical/non-technical.

Proven technical skills with JDE and Time & Attendance systems (desirable)

Salary for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate’s aligned skills and experience to the position.
