V/Line is seeking a detail-oriented Workforce Rostering Analyst to design and manage master and operational rosters for station staff and conductors, using Hastus and data-driven approaches to optimise rostering processes.
You will analyse rostering outcomes, support flexible work arrangements, and collaborate with local management to ensure safety, fatigue management, and efficient service delivery.

Reporting to the Workforce Coordinator Team Leader, you will be responsible for developing and managing master and operational rosters for station staff and conductors. You’ll play a key role in supporting the roster within the Hastus system, applying data-driven approaches to workforce management, and driving continuous improvement in rostering processes.
This role is primarily office-based at 452 Flinders Street; however a moderate amount of regional travel is also expected (1-2 days per fortnight).
