Job summary

Linfox in Rockhampton, QLD is seeking an experienced HC truck driver for a full-time daytime role, delivering to retail stores across Rockhampton and regional areas. Shifts run 7:00am–3:00pm with rotating Saturday work.

You will load and unload when required, adhere to safety standards, and communicate effectively with customers and team members to keep operations smooth. A proactive, positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• HC license current and valid.
• Demonstrated history of safe work practices.
• Familiar with the Rockhampton metro area.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proactive approach and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to retail stores in Rockhampton and regional areas.
• Load and unload goods as required.
• Maintain safety standards and follow Linfox procedures.

What does the job look like?

We are looking for an experienced HC truck driver to deliver products to retail stores in Rockhampton, QLD and some regional areas. This opportunity is a full-time permanent role with day shift hours, starting at 7:00am - 3:00pm, with rotating Saturday work between 6:00am - 10:00am. Key areas:

• Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling and uncoupling procedure plus the ability to work unsupervised
• Able to assist in loading and unloading when required
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, managers and customers on a day-to-day basis
