Job summary

Visy Logistics is expanding its national footprint with a new transport partnership, creating opportunities at Laverton, VIC. The role involves operating B‑Double combos to move steel products, forklift duties, and strict adherence to safety and load‑restraint guidelines across local routes.

We seek licensed drivers with MC/HC credentials, a solid safety record, and the ability to meet KPIs. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential as we scale operations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Current HC or MC license with minimum 2 years’ Australian driving experience.
• Forklift License and Experience.
• Proven experience operating MC combinations.
• Strong understanding of load restraint guidelines (steel experience preferred but not essential).
• Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
• Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate B-Double combinations to transport steel products across key customer sites
• Forklift operations in conjunction with driving
• Transport steel products safely with strong awareness of load restraint
• Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation
• Comply withall company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws
• Adhere to all site load restraint guidelines & policies to ensure freight is securely transported.

Routes: Local operations across Laverton
Shifts: Afternoon Shift (3pm)

What you’ll do:

• Operate B-Double combinations to transport steel products across key customer sites
• Forklift operations in conjunction with driving
