Tarmil Transport in Minto, NSW is seeking a Heavy Combination (HC) Driver to operate skel and sideloader trucks, transporting containers across the Sydney metro area. This full-time role suits a reliable, safety‑minded driver who takes pride in doing things the right way.

You’ll perform pre-start checks, maintain logs, and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely service, while upholding professionalism and contributing to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Hold a Heavy Combination (HC) licence.
• MSIC card – mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years' experience operating skel and sideloader trucks.
• Solid understanding of road transport safety and compliance standards.
• A clean driving record and strong commitment to road safety.
• Great communication skills and a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit to carry out all aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate skel and sideloader trucks for container transport across Sydney and surrounding areas
• Perform pre-start inspections and maintain accurate vehicle and journey logs
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and clients to ensure timely and efficient service
• Secure loads in compliance with road transport regulations and company policies
• Assist with loading/unloading where required
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and contribute to a positive team culture
