Job summary

Randstad in Rockhampton is seeking an experienced truck driver to deliver goods safely and efficiently across the Rockhampton region, with local runs to Emerald, Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount and Gladstone. The role is full-time, with a minimum 9-hour shift and overtime opportunities in a stable, professional environment.

You’ll operate a mix of vehicles including container trucks and tautliners, with a good level of fitness and LF license preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred LF license.
• Ability to learn and use data/tablet systems for deliveries.
• Good physical fitness.
• Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test and a physical assessment.
• Previous experience with side loaders is highly regarded.
• Local knowledge of Rockhampton region preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently across the Rockhampton region.
• Cover local deliveries to Emerald, Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount and Gladstone.
• Operate a variety of vehicles including container trucks and tautliners.
• Perform forklift work as required.

Job description

Your Role: You'll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across the Rockhampton region. Your daily run will include deliveries locally as well as Emerald, Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount, Gladstone. You will be working for a National Logistics company, well respected and recognised throughout Australia.

The daily shift runs from 9 hours at a minimum, with opportunities for overtime. You'll be driving a variety of vehicles, including container trucks (end and side doors) and tautliners (curtain sides). A portion of the job involves manual labour -forklift work, so a good level of physical fitness is essential and current LF license is heavily preferred.

Key Requirements:
