Randstad in Rockhampton region is seeking a professional truck driver to deliver goods safely and efficiently. You will run local deliveries and routes to Emerald, Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount and Gladstone for a national logistics company with a modern fleet.

The role includes a minimum 9-hour shift with potential overtime, driving container trucks and tautliners. Forklift work and LF license are highly preferred, with a strong emphasis on physical fitness and safety.

Formación

• LF license preferred.
• Ability to use data/tablet delivery systems.
• Good physical fitness.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Previous experience with side loaders is advantageous.
• Local knowledge of Rockhampton region preferred.

Responsabilidades

Your Role: You'll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across the Rockhampton region. Your daily run will include deliveries locally as well as Emerald, Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount, Gladstone. You will be working for a National Logistics company, well respected and recognised throughout Australia.

The daily shift runs from 9 hours at a minimum, with opportunities for overtime. You'll be driving a variety of vehicles, including container trucks (end and side doors) and tautliners (curtain sides). A portion of the job involves manual labour -forklift work, so a good level of physical fitness is essential and current LF license is heavily preferred.

Key Requirements:

• Preferred LF license
• Ability to learn and use data/tablet systems for deliveries.
• Good physical fitness.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and a physical assessment.
• Previous experience with side loaders is highly regarded.
• Local knowledge of the Rockhampton region and surrounding areas is preferred.
